A total of 614,357 visitor arrivals were recorded between Friday, the eve of the Chinese New Year (CNY), and Tuesday, the fourth day of the CNY, an increase of 5.7 per cent compared to last year’s Chinese New Year period, according to official statistics released by the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
In the five days, visitors coming from the mainland stood at 415,324, up 6.6 per cent, accounting to 67.6 percent of the total number of visitor arrivals.
