Individuals working in security services, cleaning services and property management in Macao will have to undergo one nucleic acid test (NAT) today (book on this link), the Health Authorities have announced.
Employers are urged to allow staff to get tested during working hours and it is not mandatory to take the NAT to be able to work today. Before heading to the city’s 21 stations, staff working in these industries must take a rapid antigen test (RAT) and upload their results onto the Macao Health Code.
Only individuals with a negative RAT result will be allowed entry into testing stations; those with a positive result (whether or not symptomatic) will need to upload their positive results onto the Macao Health Code and call an ambulance at 119, 120 or 2857 2222.
A total of 21 testing points will be open on an appointment basis. These include MGM Macau – The Grand Ballroom, and Venetian Cotai Arena A, B and C (mainly for security guards and cleaners of gaming operators); and Macau Workers’ Children School (Kindergarten Section), Sino-Portuguese Technical Professional School – Indoor Sports Hall, and Olympic Sports Centre – Indoor Pavilion (mainly for security guards and cleaners of non-gaming operators), TDM reported.
