At least 100 more Eva Air flights between Macau and Taiwan have been cancelled as the strike initiated by the airline’s flight attendants on June 20 continues.
The local airport said a notice on its website Wednesday that several Eva Air flights between Macau and Taipei, Taichung as well as Kaohsiung will be cancelled until July 19, as negotiations on work conditions and wages between the airline management and cabin crew broke down on Tuesday.
According to previous media reports, the strike has so far caused the cancellation of about 1,000 Eva Air flights worldwide, affecting about 200,000 passengers.(Macaunews)
