Hong Kong establishment Bar Leone has once again claimed the top honour of the Best Bar in Asia at the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 awards ceremony held in Macao.

This marks the second consecutive year Bar Leone, known for its “cocktail popolari” concept inspired by Roman bars, has secured the top slot. The event, hosted in collaboration with Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, highlighted bars from 20 Asian destinations and included 20 new additions to the list.

Emma Sleight, head of content for Asia’s 50 Best Bars, said: “We’re thrilled to gather in Macao with Asia’s vibrant and passionate drinks community. The region’s bars continue to redefine excellence in cocktail culture, as seen in the talent and creativity of this year’s winners.”

She added: “With 20 new entries, the most in recent years, this list is a testament to the boundary-pushing creativity of Asia, with truly memorable drink experiences waiting to be explored by cocktail enthusiasts.”

Bar Leone, owned by Lorenzo Antinori, notably debuted at number one on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list in 2024 and subsequently reached number two on the World’s 50 Best Bars list in the same year.
