Slated to start this Saturday at 8:00 pm at the Macao Cultural Centre’s Grand Auditorium, the orchestra will present Dvořák’s Symphony No 7, while Tseng will perform Violin Concerto No 2 – The American Four Seasons by Philip Glass.

The second performance, The Enchanting Flute: Jasmine Choi and Macao Orchestra, will also be held at the Grand Auditorium, at 8:00 pm on 10 March, featuring South Korean flautist Jasmine Choi, who will perform a transcribed version of the Violin Concerto in D minor by Aram Khachaturian. Choi was the first Korean musician in the Vienna Symphony and served as its former principal flute player.

The orchestra will also present Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade under Lio’s baton.

Tickets for either performance cost between 150 and 300 patacas, with various discounts available.
