Formula 3 and Grand Touring races are returning to this year’s Macau Grand Prix, according to Sports Bureau director Pun Weng Kun.
Speaking to Rádio Macau on the sidelines of the Macau Grand Prix Family Carnival, the territory’s top sports official said the race details were being “finalised”.
The FIA Formula 3 World Cup race has been one of the Macau Grand Prix’s signature races but has been suspended since 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This grand prix celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, which Pun earlier described as a “great feat”. It takes place on the weekend of 11 and 12 November and continues from 16 to 19 November.
A Chinese Formula 4 championship race will also be held as part of the tournament, which is the world’s only international street-circuit contest that comprises car and motorcycle races.
The Macau Grand Prix was awarded F3 World Cup status for the first time in 2016.
