In order to provide better services for residents to use the city’s public sports facilities, the Sports Bureau (ID) promised in a statement on Thursday that it will implement a verification code function from today for online payments for sports facility bookings.
According to the statement, from today, when residents make an online booking for sports facilities, they can only book for one hour at a time, upon paying their fees, before they can make their next booking.
Each individual can book a maximum of two hours to use any sport facilities, the statement noted.
The bureau vowed to continually improve and optimise its “Public Sports Facilities Network”, as well as services provided by its Sport Easy membership programme, in order to provide residents with better services for sports, the statement said.
According to the bureau’s official website, the Sport Easy membership programme was launched in 2008, with the aim of facilitating the use of public sports facilities by local residents.
According to the website, the Sport Easy programme seeks to build a complete database of sports participants by encouraging residents to enrol in the programme. It also seeks to simplify procedures for residents registering for activities provided by the bureau and to simplify the input of data concerning the individual booking of facilities.
For enquires, visit the bureau’s official website at http://www.sport.gov.mo, or call 2823 6363 during office hours.
