Following a 60-year-old mainland Chinese woman’s positive test for Covid-19 today, everyone who lives or has been to any of three key areas for more than 30 minutes will have to undergo four nucleic acid tests (NAT) over the next five days, with the last one on 23 November. The NAT drive will begin at 4 pm today (booking link here).
All individuals that have been to the below places during the specified dates will need to undergo NATs:
– 15-18 November: Fisherman’s wharf and the Harbourview Hotel specifically
– 18 November: Sands Hotel, Ruins of St Pauls, Macao Fortress, A-Ma Temple, Lilau square and more (see below images):
Infants and toddlers under 3 years old (born on or after 19 November 2019) are exempt from taking NATs.
If individuals are to be tested in Macao or mainland China between 19-23 November, there will be no need to take another NAT. Anyone who fails to complete their NATs will risk their Health Codes turning yellow the next day.
