Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is headed to Macao, with its second-ever live competition set to take place in the SAR in December, according to a report in specialised esports media.
The three-day esports (also known as competitive video gaming) event first took place in Las Vegas, US, last year.
This year, Macao is set to welcome 512 TFT competitors who will battle it out for a slice of the US$300,000 prize pool, a trophy known as the Tactician’s Belt, and the Macao Open title.

Riot Games was acquired by one of China’s biggest tech companies, Tencent, in 2011.
The TFT LAN Macao Open is scheduled for 13 to 15 December, though its location has not been confirmed. Two types of passes will be sold: competitor and spectator.
