Kenyan Peter Kimeli Some wins the Macau International Marathon

Peter Kimeli Some, aged 26, from Kenya, won the Macau International Marathon with 02:12:52 followed by Dominic Bangor Kimwetich also from Kenya with 02:13:19 on Sunday.

Peter Kimeli Some, aged 26, from Kenya, won the Macau International Marathon with 02:12:52 followed by Dominic Bangor Kimwetich also from Kenya with 02:13:19 on Sunday.

Kenyan Suleiman Kipkesis Simotwo was third with 02:15:21 followed by Chol Pak from Korea with 02:17:24 and Abraraw Misganaw Tegegne from Ethiopia with 02:19:47.

Ji Huang Kim from North Korea won the female marathon with 02:36:16 followed by Joan Jepchirchir Eigen and Chapati Rionotukei from Kenya.

The fourth place went to Korean distance runner Kwang Ok Ri and the fifth place went to Ethiopian Keneni Assefa Gudeta.
More than 1,000 athletes from 46 countries and regions took part in the marathon.
