The races were held over two days at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, and in line with the Health Bureau’s Covid-19 prevention guidelines, were not open to spectators.
Participants and event coordinators had to show a valid Nucleic Acid Test taken within 14 days prior to entering the venue for the competition, The Macau Post Daily reported.
People present at the venue had to show a green Macau Health Code, have their temperature checked and wear facemasks. Racers also had to wear their facemasks at all times and could only take them off during their warm-ups and actual races.
