The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) has warned of very hot weather over the next two to three days, due to the influence of subtropical high pressure, with some areas in the city experiencing temperatures up to 35 degrees celsius.

The bureau also said that a tropical cyclone currently developing near the Philippines is expected to enter the South China Sea mid-this week and may affect coastal areas from Guangdong to Fujian provinces during the weekend.

However, there may be changes in the development and the path of the potential tropical cyclone, according to SMG, who will continue to monitor it.
