The University of Macau’s (UM) Open Day which was due to take place this Sunday will be held online instead.

The decision to hold the event online only is due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The university noted that visitors from both Macao and overseas can join the event’s activities online “anytime, anywhere”, between 11 am and 5 pm, enabling them to learn about UM’s admission requirements, academic characteristics, and research achievements without going to the campus.

The university added that the event’s activities will include an online opening ceremony, admission and academic talks, admission consultation, exhibitions, games and a lucky draw.

Students who would like to pursue their tertiary education at the university can learn about the programmes or departments that they are interested in, which could help them prepare for the UM admission exam as well as Macao’s joint admission exam.
