More than 1,800 students are set to take part in a graduation ceremony at the University of Macau (UM) on 28 May, marking the formal end to their studies.

The ceremony will be held online and offline at 4 pm in the Sports Complex (N8) on the UM campus in Hengqin, when certificates will be presented to this year’s graduates of bachelor’s degree programmes from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Social Sciences. UM added that 125 have completed programmes offered by the Honours College.

In line with pandemic prevention measures, only those graduating will be admitted to the main stadium for the ceremony. Students’ friends and relatives with admission tickets, meanwhile, will watch the ceremony’s live broadcast from adjacent buildings, The Macau Post Daily reported.
