Sixty temporary large-furniture collecting stations will be set up around Macao from 1-7 May.

The Municipal Affairs Bureau said 50 stations will be established on the peninsula, while Taipa will get six and Coloane four. The bureau urged residents only to dispose of their furniture between 8 am .and 11 pm otherwise they could be fined.

The bureau said that to avoid old furniture blocking the streets, it is working with an outsourced company to arrange for more staff and vehicles to remove the furniture at night, The Macau Post Daily reported.
