Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng attended Wednesday morning’s ceremony to mark the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen as a special economic zone (SEZ).

Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng attended Wednesday morning’s ceremony to mark the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen as a special economic zone (SEZ), the Macao Government Information Bureau (GCS) said in a statement.

Officials accompanying Ho included Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Elsie Ao Ieong U, Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosário, Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive’s Office Hoi Lai Fong, Protocol, Public Relations and External Affairs Office Director Lei Ut Mui, and GCS Director Inês Chan Lou.

Ho returned to Macao after the ceremony. In the afternoon, Ho attended the opening ceremony of the 2020/21 Judicial Year.
