Ferry services between the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal in Macao and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong will resume on 19 January, with about 10 round trips per day.
The Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) announced that services between the Macao peninsula and Sheung Wan will include night ferries but not early morning services.
The bureau also pointed out that night ferry services between Taipa Ferry Terminal in Pac On and Sheung Wan are currently being planned for late January but these will also not include early morning services.
Ferry services between Hong Kong and Macao resumed on Sunday, for the first time in almost three years, when TurboJET and Cotai Water Jet began to operate the ferry route between the Taipa Ferry Terminal and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal again, providing about 10 round-trip sailings each day.
Meanwhile, ferry services between the Taipa Ferry Terminal and Hong Kong International Airport resumed on 30 December, while ferries between Shenzhen Airport and the Macao peninsula, as well as Taipa, were back in operation from Sunday and Tuesday, respectively.
The DSAMA has urged passengers to pay attention to the latest Covid-19 measures in Macao, Hong Kong and mainland China before travelling.
