TurboJET ferry services between Macao’s Taipa Ferry Terminal and Hong Kong International Airport’s Skypier will resume on 30 December, the Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) has announced.

The route will restart with one round-trip ferry service every Friday and Sunday, with ferries from Macao to Hong Kong Airport departing at 2:30 pm, while ferry services from Hong Kong Airport to the Taipa Ferry Terminal are scheduled for 9:45 am departure on those two days, according to DSAMA.

The bureau pointed out that in preparation for the resumption, trial voyage and berth as well as terminal facilities’ inspection have been carried out. DSAMA has asked TurboJET and the relevant cleaning service for the Taipa Ferry Terminal to strengthen disinfection of all facilities at the terminal and the pier.

Ferry services between Macao and Hong Kong, including the airport route, were suspended in February 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, TurboJET has not yet updated its website with the information about the ferry services’ resumption.
