Macao to host WTT Champions 2025 featuring world’s top table tennis players

The WTT Champions Macao 2025 is set to bring elite table tennis action to the Macao East Asian Games Dome from 9 to 14 September

Macao is preparing to welcome the world’s leading table tennis players for the WTT Champions Macao 2025, scheduled to take place at the Macao East Asian Games Dome between 9 and 14 September. The event is organised by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, World Table Tennis (WTT), and Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), with co-organisation from the Macau Table Tennis General Association.

Details of the tournament and ticketing information were unveiled at a press conference held yesterday. 

The WTT Champions Macao 2025 will feature 64 competitors, 32 male and 32 female. Notable participants include Chinese national team members Lin Shidong, Wang Chuqin, Sun Yingsha, and Wang Manyu. Also competing are Hugo Calderano, the ITTF Men’s World Cup Macao 2025 champion, and Macao’s own Zhu Yuling, winner of the women’s singles at the WTT United States Smash 2025.

The match schedule indicates that the initial round of 32 matches will be played on 9 and 10 September and during the first session on 11 September. The round of 16 matches are scheduled for the second session of 11 September and all day on 12 September. Quarter-finals will take place on 13 September, leading to the semi-finals and finals on 14 September.

Tickets for the event will become available from 12 pm on 15 August through various online platforms, including Maoyan, UUTIX, Galaxy Ticketing, mCoin, mPass via Mpay, and MacauTicket.com. Prices range from 210 to 1,300 patacas. 

A maximum of four tickets can be purchased per transaction. Spectators aged three and above require a ticket, while children under three who do not occupy a seat may enter free when accompanied by a paying adult, limited to one child per adult. Details on a further round of ticket sales will be announced later.

Discounts are available for specific sessions and for holders of a full-time Macao Student Card, Macao residents aged 65 or above, or Disability Assessment Registration Card holders. Kong Seng outlets will provide assistance for seniors aged 65 or above who require help with online ticket purchases via MacauTicket.com.
