Macau, China, 11 Dec – Macau’s Zhang Shaoling won Thursday the gold medal in the weightlifting 69kg women’s, ahead of world record holder Liu Chunhong of China, during the East Asian Games in Hong Kong.
Macau’s Li Xua won a silver medal in Weightlifting 63 kg Women.
Macau won already 12 medals ( 5 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze) in Wushu (Taolu) , Taekwondo, Weightlifting and Cycling-Indoor and is six in the rank by Gold ahead of North Korea, Mongolia and Guam.
Jia Rui won today a gold medal in Wushu (Taolu) – Changquan Men and XI Chengqing take the silver medal in Wushu (Taolu) – Changquan Women.
In Taekwondo Chen Zhiquan took the silver medal in 78kg men and in 72hk Wang Junnan took the bronze in women category and Wong Soi Chun in Men category.
In Cycling – Indoor, Kuan Sok In / Kuan Sok Mui won gold in Pair Artistic Cycling Women, Kuan Sok Mui also won gold in Single Artistic Cycling Women and Wong Hang Cheong also get gold in the Single Artistic Cycling Men.
The Macau team won the Bronze medal for Indoor Cycle Ball Men and Lou Antonio Jose / Wong Hang Cheong get also a bronze medal in Cycling – Indoor Pair Artistic Cycling Men.
The East Asian Games, featuring nine teams and 22 sports, finish on December 13.
