A K-pop festival that was due to be held at Wynn Palace on 21 and 22 October has been abruptly called off with no reason given.
According to a statement on the website of Hallyu Pop Fest Macau 2023, fans will “receive a full refund through the original mode of payment in line with the ticketing platform procedures.”
The event was to have been headlined by boy bands Shinee and NCT Dream and was being organised by Wynn along with Hong Kong promoter AEG and Hallyu Pop Fest originators HAH Entertainment.

Other acts confirmed included Hyolyn, Sam Kim, Verivery, Cherry Bullet and H1-Key.
The Hallyu Pop Fest franchise debuted in Singapore in 2018 and the events have since been held in the UK and Australia.
