“Genesis and Spirit – Showcase of Anhui Intangible Cultural Heritage”, an exhibition celebrating “China Cultural and Natural Heritage Day” has been cancelled due to the continuing pandemic situation.
A spokesman for the Cultural Affairs Bureau said every single aspect of the event – including this Friday’s opening ceremony at the IAM Gallery, the thematic exhibition which was to have run until 4 July, thematic talks at Zheng Guanying Memorial Museum, performances at Mandarin’s House, art and craft demonstrations at Lou Kau Mansion, and fan making and paper cutting workshops – had been shelved
While no alternative date has been provided, the bureau vowed to pay attention to the developing Covid-19 pandemic situation and will adjust its schedule as necessary, The Macau Post Daily reported.
