Zhuhai health authorities alerted their counterparts in Macao this morning that a 22-year-old female mainland non-resident worker employed at a music education centre in Fai Chi Kei had tested positive for Covid-19, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has announced.

The woman lives in Zhuhai and her nucleic acid tests on Monday and Tuesday both returned negative. She tested positive yesterday.

According to the Centre, the woman crossed the Zhuhai-Macao border via Qingmao Port yesterday. She did not go to work on Tuesday but spent time in Macao. Further investigation has shown the woman visited the package delivery service area in the Gongbei Port’s underground shopping mall on 13 November.
