The minimum temperature in the Pearl River Estuary area is expected to be between 13°C and 15°C around 18 and 19 November, according to the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG).
The north-eastern monsoon of the autumn season is expected to reach the Southern China coast early next week, bringing a significant drop in temperatures along the coastal areas.

In Macao, northerly winds will intensify from Monday 17 November. Conditions will be exceptionally dry, with daytime relative humidity potentially dropping to 35% or below.
Authorities advise residents to dress appropriately, while those working or out in open spaces should exercise caution against the effects of strong gusts and fire hazards.
Earlier this week, Thyphoon Fung-wong prompted SMG to issue this year’s 14th typhoon signal, once again breaking the record for the highest number of signals issued in a single year since records began in 1968.
