Cotai Water Jet will be sailing a “Macau Cruise Fireworks Route” for a limited time in September and October. The tour will allow passengers to experience the 33rd Macao International Fireworks Display Contest from the harbour.

Similar to Cotai Water Jet’s other Macao tour (known as the Macau Cruise Sightseeing Tour), the journey will begin at the Taipa Ferry Terminal and pass by landmarks such as the Kun Iam statue and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge.

According to the company’s website, passengers have the choice between including one or two fireworks displays in their tours, which last approximately 70 and 105 minutes, respectively.

Three seat classes are available. Passengers holding tickets for Cotai First and the VIP Cabin will be seated on the upper deck, which offers a “commanding view” of the fireworks, according to Cotai Water Jet. Adult tickets start at 250 patacas.

The 33rd Macao International Fireworks Display Contest is set to begin on 6 September. This year’s edition of the annual event will feature displays from ten nations, including Australia, South Africa and Japan.

Several of the locations the cruise will pass by, such as the Macao Science Centre and the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre, are listed among the best viewing locations, according to the Contest’s website.
