Chinese-American comedian Joe Wong will be performing his Chinese stand-up show Between Jobs in Macao at Galaxy’s G-Box on 17 August at 5 pm.
Wong’s comedy tends to touch on global issues like trade wars, immigration and cultural clashes. This particular show is themed around the relatable struggles and confusions around work culture.
He is also scheduled to perform The Twin Tariff Show in Hong Kong at the Kitty Woo Stadium on 13 and 14 August. The show on the 13 August will be in Mandarin, while the show on 14 August will be in English, with tickets ranging from HK$380 to HK$480.

Wong is a bilingual stand-up comedian who performs in both English and Chinese. He originally emigrated to the US as a biochemistry researcher, but made a drastic career change after discovering a talent for comedy.
He has since appeared on popular shows such as Late Show with David Letterman, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Ellen Degeneres show. In 2024, he did a solo performance at the Netflix Is A Joke Fest.
Tickets for the Macao show are currently on sale and are priced at 450 patacas.
