Hong Kong boy band Mirror will perform two shows in Macao in May as part of an upcoming world tour.
The series of shows are an attempted comeback for the band, which has kept a mostly low profile since a 2022 accident, when a four-by-four-metre screen crashed to the stage during a concert, injuring two dancers, one of them seriously.
Although concert producers and band members have not been charged with wrongdoing, a number of prosecutions and lawsuits against engineering firms who worked on the concert are still pending. The seriously injured dancer, Mo Li, remains paralysed in hospital after suffering injuries to his head and spine.

To date, no member of Mirror has commented on the accident or visited Li in hospital, the South China Morning Post reports.
The current tour is the first since the accident took place and encompasses the UK, USA, Canada, Malaysia and Singapore. It follows a number of solo concerts by band members last summer.
The Macao shows will take place at the Galaxy Arena on 17 and 18 May. Three staff members of Engineering Impact – one of the firms that worked on the 2022 concert when the accident took place – will meanwhile stand trial in Hong Kong in October, accused of falsifying critical data that led to the mishap.
