The FIBA 3×3 World Tour Macau Masters kick off at Wynn Palace tomorrow, marking the first time a 3×3 World Tour has taken place in the territory.
The two-day event will see the pool stage take place on 8 July, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals taking place on 9 July.
For the uninitiated, 3 x 3 is a form of basketball played on half of a full-size court, with one hoop and – as the name suggests – three players on each team.

The format encourages fast-paced and flowing games and has been growing in popularity. It was added to the roster of sports at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
The Macao event will see some of the world’s top teams competing to be crowned Macau Masters winners. Ub Huishan NE of Serbia will be aiming for their fourth straight title on the FIBA 2023 3×3 World Tour 2023, but face a challenge from rivals and compatriots Liman Huishan NE.
