Macau, China, 29 Jun – Mandarin Oriental hotel opens today, in th One Central complex, in NAPE waterfront, with 213 rooms, including 26 suites and one presidential suite.
The hotel located in the Macau peninsula is owned by Hong Kong Land and Shun Tak groups and designed by architect Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates PC/USA.
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group also manage the Grand Lapa Hotel in Macau.
The Mandarin Oriental will be a non-gaming 5 star hotel together with the Westin Hotel in Coloane island.
The hotel group will also manage 56 luxurious residences and 36 apartments that are located above Mandarin Oriental, Macau, which is part of the One Central mixed-use complex.
This brings the total number of branded Residences at Mandarin Oriental around the world to 14.
Mandarin Oriental International Limited is a publicly listed company and is a member of Jardine Matheson Group.
The group operates 41 hotels in 24 countries with 16 hotels in Asia.
