Hilton has announced the opening of a 300-room hotel in Shenzhen’s Qianhai business district under its Conrad brand.
Located 25 minutes from Bao’an International Airport and a short walk from the Guiwan metro station, the Conrad Shenzhen is Hilton’s first luxury property in the city and was designed by well-known interior design practice Yabu Pushelberg.
Rooms start at 56 square metres in size and all have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of either Qianhai Bay or the city.

There are four food and beverage outlets: a Chinese restaurant specialising in Chaozhou cuisine; an all-day dining venue; a lounge with nine-metre-high ceilings and an outdoor terrace; plus a cocktail bar, also with outdoor seating.
The property offers 2,100 square metres of meeting and event space, including a 1,100-square metre grand ballroom. Other amenities include a fitness centre and an indoor pool.
“Travel demand remains strong and is only expected to rise as international travel to China resumes,” said Alan Watts, Hilton’s Asia-Pacific president. He described Hilton as “the country’s fastest growing hotel company” and said it was “ready to welcome even more guests here in Shenzhen and other key destinations.”
