Three new ferry routes to run from Taipa this year

Three newly-approved ferry routes from Taipa’s Pac On Temporary Ferry Terminal to Hong Kong’s Shueng Wan, Zhuhai’s Wanzai and Shenzhen’s Shekou terminals will be operational within six months from the permit date, Maritime Administration(CP) Director Suzana Wong Soi Man said Thursday.

Wong said that the government has approved Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management’s application to operate a ferry route between Taipa and Shekou, Yuet Tung Shipping to run a route between Taipa and Wanzai opposite to Macau’s Inner Harbour and Far East Hydrofoil to operate a route between Taipa and Sheung Wan in Hong Kong.

Yuet Tung Shipping already runs a ferry service between the Inner Harbour  Terminal and Wanzhai Custmos Port which takes just a few minutes.

Wong said the vompanies have six months to start their service from the date they get their permit.(macaunews)
