The ethnic dance drama “MGM Awakening Lion” which was due to take to the stage in Cotai next month has been postponed by fears over the Covid-19 epidemic.

The 70-minute dance-drama residency show at MGM Cotai Theater had been put together in cooperation with the Guangzhou Song and Dance Theatre. It will now take place on 5-10 October.

An MGM spokesman apologised for the inconvenience. “We look forward to putting on a spectacular show that pays homage to the classic cultural performance of the Greater Bay Area this autumn,” he added.

Customers who have bought tickets for the July performances may either claim a full refund or exchange them for the October show.

For ticketing enquiries, customers should call the 24-hour ticketing hotline (+853) 8802 3833 or e-mail [email protected].
