A year on from reopening, Macao’s signature museum will be celebrating by handing out free gifts and running competitions.

The Grand Prix Museum will celebrate the first anniversary of its reopening on 1 June, with free admission and a variety of fun activities.

By posting photos taken at the museum with the hashtag #MGPM #1stanniversary and sharing them on social media, visitors will be eligible to collect a free gift from information counter staff.

The museum will also host the “Photo Contest of the Classic Car and Motorcycle Parade and Show” exhibition from 1 June to 4 July.  

The contest is organised by the Automobile General Association Macao-China in conjunction with the Photographic Society of Macao and is held for the second year,.  An award ceremony will be held at the museum at 6:30 pm on 1 June. 

The museum will also launch an augmented reality game “Cross the Finishing Line” on the same day, The Macau Post Daily reported.
