Four top tennis stars have shared some inspirational tips with aspiring young players at a Youth Talk at the University of Macau (UM).

Chinese star Li Na, two of the country’s hopes for the future, Hua Runhao and Zhu Aiwen, and UM alumnus Sharon Au Ieong, one of Macao’s most outstanding athletes and flag bearer at the Asian Games, shared their successful experiences as professional athletes and the hard work that goes into training in an effort to encourage more youngsters to get involved in sports in the future.

The talk was organised by SJM Resorts, title sponsor of the 2021 CTA Tour SJM Professional Finals (Macao) and National Tennis Championships and the Chinese Tennis Association.

SJM Chairman Daisy Ho commented: “With the support of the Chinese Tennis Association, SJM is honoured to have invited Li Na and other talented players to the Youth Talk.

“Dedicated to the development of sports and to the nurturing of future talents, we hope that through this sharing session students can gain a deeper understanding about the achievements of China in sports, and take pride in working together.”
