DJ KAKA, one of China’s top female entertainers, is set to kick off the celebrations when Para Club, the new incarnation of Club Cubic at City of Dreams, opens on Friday night.

The action at the duplex, 2,700-square-metre space is expected to centre around the performance stage and a laser-lit dance pool, while patrons can chill at the Gothic-style bar or in five VIP rooms.

Macao’s partygoers flocked to Club Cubic when it first opened in 2011 but it closed last October. Former operator Luk Hing Entertainment blamed lockdowns and Covid-19 distancing measures and also hinted at rental disputes.

Melco Resorts & Entertainment, which operates City of Dreams, took over the club and is now relaunching it. Melco Resorts has previously indicated all “local employees” who had worked at Cubic would be offered the option to continue to be involved in Para Club.
