Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng is on a four-day working visit to Shanghai and Hangzhou.

He attended the opening ceremony of the 4th China International Import Expo in Shanghai yesterday at the invitation of Minister of Commerce Wang Wengtao.

Following his stay in Shanghai, Ho will pay a working visit to Hangzhou and meet senior officials of Zhejiang province, in order to strengthen bilateral ties, and will return to Macao on Sunday.

During Ho’s absence, Secretary for Administration and Justice André Cheong Weng Chon and Secretary for Economy and Finance Lei Wai Nong will take turns to be acting chief executive, The Macau Post Daily reported.
