Overseas voting for the Philippines’ presidential elections kicked-off on Sunday and runs until 9 May.

According to the Philippine Consulate General, the voting venue is at Harbourview Hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf which will be open from 9 am to 6 pm daily.

The consulate reminded citizens to check that their name is included on the Certified List of Overseas Voters, to carry their valid Philippine passport, to prepare their own list of candidates (one president, one vice-president, 12 senators, and one party-list) and ensure their Macao Health Code is valid.

The consulate pointed out that no political gatherings should be held “without securing the necessary host government permit”, and that voters should maintain “proper behaviour”, The Macau Post Daily reported. Voters were also advised not to take their children to the polling station.
