Macau, China, 25 May – Macau’s participation in the Shanghai World Exposition is an "opportunity" for the international promotion of the territory that will be made use of, the Macau chief executive, Fernando Chui Sai On.
On his way to Shanghai, heading a delegation from Macau, Fernando Chui Sai On noted the importance of the Macau pavilion at the exposition in the economic capital of China, specifically in "providing information about the development of the territory to visitors from all over the world."
"The government will use this opportunity to boost international promotion of the Special Administrative Region," he said.
The Macau chief executive is heading a delegation of members of the government and other representatives, which will visit Expo 2010 until Wednesday, specifically the China, Macau and Hong Kong pavilions.
