Macao recorded three more Covid-19-related fatalities yesterday, bringing the city’s total number of deaths related to the disease to 16, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced today.

The three deceased were a 60-year-old man and two women aged 88 and 94. All suffered from chronic diseases while two of the three had been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, a total of 90 new symptomatic cases were reported in Macao yesterday – all were admitted to Health Bureau’s facilities for medical isolation and treatment, according to the Centre.

This brings the city’s total number of symptomatic cases since January 2020 to 1,614. However, Macao’s Special webpage against Epidemics has not yet been updated since 18 December, with a note on the webpage saying “updated every Thursday after 9:00 am”.
