Everyone in Macao must update their personal details on the rapid antigen test (RAT) reporting platform, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has announced.
In order to rapidly contact people who are at risk of being infected by Covid-19, especially those who got a positive result from their citywide nucleic acid test (NAT) in the mixed NAT samples, or people who tested positive in their RAT, the Centre needs an emergency contact number.
The Centre underlined that residents must provide details of their permanent address or the address of their current location. It stressed that people with positive results in their RAT must immediately report the situation on the platform so that appropriate services can be provided by the government. The Centre added that people who test positive for Covid-19, if they show symptoms, such as fever or respiratory conditions, should phone for an ambulance at once.
The Centre noted that if the RAT result is positive, the person and his/her cohabitants should not go out, and NATs will be arranged for them. In order to protect the cohabitants, the Centre urged the person who tested positive to put on a KN95 facemask at once, The Macau Post Daily reported.
