The validity of nucleic acid test (NAT) result for all individuals entering Macao from Guangdong province, by land or sea, will be increased to seven days starting from midnight of 2 June, according to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre.

The current NAT result’s validity is 72 hours.

The new measure resulted from a joint Covid-19 prevention and control cooperation between Macao and Zhuhai after considering the developments of Covid-19 in neighbouring regions, TDM reported.
