All sailings to and from Macao’s Outer Ferry Terminal have been cancelled from 8:00 am today and across much of tomorrow, according to ferry operator TurboJet. Ferries between the Outer Harbour and Hong Kong, Shekou and Shenzhen will be impacted.
The disruption is due to construction of the fourth Macao-Taipa bridge, requiring closure of the nearby navigation channel, the Marine and Water Bureau says.
TurboJET has added special sailings to its Taipa-Hong Kong routes (and vice versa) to help lessen the inconvenience. Regular sailings between the two points won’t be impacted, according to the company’s website.

Affected ticket-holders can directly board the special sailings, TurboJET says.
TurboJet ferry services between the Outer Harbour and Hong Kong, Shekou and Shenzhen are set to gradually resume from late on Thursday.
Cotai Water Jet sailings will not be impacted, as the company does not service the Macao Outer Ferry Terminal.
