During the ‘consolidation period’ which begins this Saturday, the government will be providing limited external services to members of the public.

All government staff – which cannot exceed 50 per cent – will need to undergo a rapid antigen test prior to going to work on top of either a NAT every two days or daily if they have become part of a Key Group. If staff hold a yellow health code, it is also advised they do not go to work.

Members of the public should make reservations online or by phone to apply for the relevant services.

Macao registered only 12 new cases in the past day – just one found in the community – bringing the city’s total number of Covid-19 cases to 1,795 as of midnight last night. Eleven of the new cases were found in Red Code Zones and medical observation hotels, which were detected under management and control, while one case was found in the Citywide and Key Groups NATs, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced.
