Twenty-two public services in Macao will be suspended from today through Friday due to the latest Covid-19 developments.

The Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau noted that the affected public services comprise the veterinary clinic and surgery of the Macao Municipal Kennel; detoxification and maintenance treatment services (Methadone) provided by the Carmo Drug Treatment Centre in Taipa; specialist clinical services provided by the Health Bureau (SS); and visits to the emergency department of the Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre by people other than patients, as well as the nursing services at the city’s 11 public health centres.

Other affected services include some of the Macao Government Tourism Office visitor information counters at six casinos, the Museum Shop of the Macao Museum of Art and the Palace Museum Cultural and Creative Store.

The bureau also urged residents to use electronic means to apply for public services whenever possible. However, if it is necessary to attend to services in person, residents should first make an appointment online or by telephone, The Macau Post Daily reported.
