A list of the 100 most boring tourist attractions around the world was recently published by the online gaming company Solitaired.

According to the ranking, the top three most boring sites worldwide were all located in the US, with the Branson Scenic Railway taking the top spot with a full “boredom score” of 5 out of 5. In second place was Illuminarium Atlanta, which had a score of 4.5. This was followed by the Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride in Tennessee, which scored 3.7.

In order to compile the rankings, an analysis was conducted on keywords relating to boredom featured in roughly 67 million Google reviews of 3,290 tourist destinations, found in 384 cities across 71 countries.

The US dominated the list, with 18 out of the top 25 most boring global attractions situated in the country.

Outside of the US, the UK and Canada were in the lead for the dullest tourist venues, with Shrek’s Adventure in London bagging first place, followed by Canada’s Legoland Discovery Centre in Toronto and the Telus Spark Science Centre. Overall, however, the US, Canada and Australia had the highest number of entries.

Museums accounted for 33 percent of the attractions that were deemed to be the most boring in the world. Legoland and its affiliated “discovery centres” also managed to make it to the top 25.

Macao was not included on the list, unlike mainland China and Hong Kong, which had Tiananmen Square and the Hong Kong Science Museum listed as their least interesting tourist attractions respectively.
