The 2016 Macau International Dragon Boat Races wrapped up on Thursday with different teams, both local and international, competing for the top titles.
The NanHai JiuJiang male and female teams, from the neighbouring Guangdong Province, won the grand final races.
The Thailand National team got the second place.
Last year, the Philippine Dragon Boat’s women team finished strong and secured the number two spot in the Macau International Dragon Boat. This year although they didn’t make it to the grand finals, they still didn’t go home empty-handed after they topped the 500-metre B final.
The 2016 Macau International Dragon Boat events kicked off last weekend. The first two days of the event featured mostly local teams, namely public and private institutions and universities.
