Lineup revealed for the MGM Macau Tennis Masters

The six stars for the MGM Macau Tennis Masters have been confirmed. 

They are: American former world no. 5 Taylor Fritz; world no. 21 Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands; Croatian Borna Coric, ranked 37 in the ATP; Chinese rising star Zhang Zhizhen, currently 59 in the ATP table; former world no. 8 Daria Kasatkina of Russia; and Chinese youngster Wang Xinyu, ranked no. 32 in the WTA.

“We are looking forward to many thrilling contests between these players hailing from all corners of the globe,” said tournament director and senior vice president of tennis events for IMG, Luiz Carvalho.’’

MGM president Kenneth Feng said: “There is such a tremendous mix of personalities and styles of play amongst these high-profile players, while some of them have never had the opportunity to play with each other.” 

The event takes place on 2 and 3 December at the Macao East Asia Games Dome. All singles matches will be played on an indoor hard court as a “best of three sets” contest, with a ten-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. There will also be a special mixed doubles match.

Tickets for the two-day tournament are available through www.mgm.mo, with daily tickets starting at 280 patacas and two-day passes available from 480 patacas.
