The Macau roller hockey men’s squad Wednesday won the Asian Championship title for the fifth straight time, defeating India 6-3 in the final match.
The Macau team won all their matches in the tournament, held in the Chinese city of Hefei, Anhui province.
Macau beat the Australia, Taiwan and India.
With this victory, Macau reached 9 Asian titles in 16 tournaments.
The team, coached by Alberto Lisboa, also a fielder, includes Leong Chak In and Paulo Gibelino (goalkeepers) and field players Hélder Ricardo, Augusto Ramos, Nuno Antunes, Nuno Azevedo, Rogério Oliveira, Dinisio Luz e Ricardo Atraca.(macaunews)
