Local swimmer Lancy Chen won gold at the national Student (Youth) Games on Saturday, for her stellar breaststroke performance, according to a statement released by the Sports Bureau.

Chen, a fourth-form student at Sacred Heart Canossian College, won the 50-metre competition with a time of 31.62 seconds. Her medal was Macao’s first in the Games, which are being held in Nanning, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
