China defeat Thailand in four sets (18-25, 25,20, 25-18, 25-19) on Sunday’ s game of group A of the “2012 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix” held in Macau between 8th and 10th.
China finished the weekend with a 100 per cent record after wins over Argentina and Puerto Rico.
Thailand took two victories to take with them into Week 2.
The final round will be held in Ningbo, in China, from 27th July to 1st August.
Sixteen countries take part in the 2012 FIVB Volleyball Grand Prix.
Macau has been hosting the local event since 1994, except in 2003 and 2004, including two GRand Finals in 2001 and 2011.( macaunews)
